Winning mentality
As there is such a diverse range of pupils who get into our cars, we have to create individual learning plans and ensure that we can get the best out of every single person. Creating a positive mindset and giving clean constructive feedback as well as deserved praise helps our pupils build a great sense of self belief which inevitably shines through in their driving attitude. This has helped us to achieve a great test success rate and also have a really high percentage of first time passes.
Making it enjoyable
Taking on a big task like learning to drive can be a scary proposition to most pupils and being a nervous and worried driver can generally lead to a higher amount of mistakes. We firmly believe that making the lessons enjoyable and injecting fun into the learning process can make pupils feel more relaxed and therefore increase their ability to focus and learn. Safety is always our highest order but that doesn’t mean that the process has to be too dull and serious!
