About Barnes Driving Academy

Barnes Driving Academy was brought to life in 2018 by its founder Phil. After a career background in customer service he transferred his skillset of training, development and leadership to help people unlock their freedom in learning to drive. Having trained to become an Approved Driving Instructor he worked closely with ‘New Driver’ before launching his own business and it has gone from strength to strength in both stature and quality. We have a firm vision to develop the best and safest drivers on the road.

Our mission is to provide expert tuition to all pupils in a way that is engaging and enjoyable. We value our high standards and aim to put only the most capable and informed drivers through to test and on the road in an aim to keep the roads a safer place to be. We drive with passion and teach in the same manner. You’ll be able to see our pupil testimonials throughout the site and on our social media platforms as well.

As our current pupils will know, we are currently trying to spread the information and education from our lessons to a wider audience using social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
