About Us
Barnes Driving Academy has been well established in Locks Heath and the surrounding areas for many years. We have put 100’s of new drivers on the road and are dedicated to providing a professional and fun environment for pupils to learn. We have a passion for safe driving and take pride in providing the highest levels of tuition.
Lesson & Package prices
Standard one hour lesson – £38
Can be utilised by anyone wanting to learn, this is a flat rate and can be used to book multiple lessons, ideal for more experienced drivers or top up lessons.
Standard 1.5 hour lesson – £57
Like with the above, just longer! Ideal for drivers who want more time in the car and usually ideal when first starting.
Motorway lesson 1 Hour – £40
As the name suggests, 1 hour of motorway experience usually recommended after passing the test and ideal for those living within a 5 to 10 min drive of a motorway junction.
MOTORWAY lesson 1.5 Hours – £60
You’ve guessed it, 1.5 hours experience on a motorway. Ideal for those who live further from a motorway junction or who just want more time getting used to it.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased for any amount of lessons ranging from just a single hour all the way up to our package offers. Ideal for Birthday or Christmas gifts.
10 hour block booking – £360
This is our most common package option providing a £20 discount on the standard rate. 10 hours of driving tuition usually comprising of 6×1.5hr lessons and an additional 1hr lesson but can be broken down differently upon request.
20 hour block booking – £720
Two lots of the above. This is recommended if you are happy to book all in advance and usually gives more availability in the diary as you’ll be booking in advance.
TEST BOOKING – from £62
We can arrange and book your practical driving test for you as well which can take the pressure off. Please note that we have no additional priority or access to earlier bookings than the usual channels on the Gov.uk website.
prepare to pass package – £1500
This package offers up to 40hrs of driving tuition as well as the practical test fee. A structured course designed to get you ready to pass. This course will usually take at least 6 months and is best suited for individuals who have passed their theory test. Please note that there is no pass guarantee in this package and additional lessons may be required depending on the individual.
